Year 11-13 / Grade VI-Grade VIII

Through elementary learning, students now can CREATE (Srijan). This school aims at enabling the students to develop their personal understanding, their emerging sense of self, and responsibility in their community through a creative mindset and a strong application-based approach. Welcome to those years of growth where a child is no longer a kid while not yet mature, an age where the child is neither ignorant nor completely able/informed. Years 11-14 are those formative years, which, if not tended to, can lead to confusion and misguided opinions. An organic progression from Bodh, during which the learners understand and acknowledge SRIJAN, as the next level encourages and enables them to Create. The pedagogy is to help the learners understand that knowledge is done best when applied. The students are taken through continuous assessments that are for learning, of learning, and as learning. SRIJAN aims at enabling the students to develop their personal understanding, their emerging sense of self, and responsibility in their community through a creative mindset and a strong application-based approach.

Class Assembly and Circle Time

A strong step towards guided reflection and necessary action, the circle time and class assemblies work towards the students developing a healthy emotional connection with not just themselves but also with people around them.

LONG TERM PROJECT

Long Term Project

Every student in Srijan takes up a long-term project that starts at Grade VI and completes in Grade VIII. These are application-based Capstone Projects that are taken up to find solutions to everyday problems.

Relationship, Health and Social Education Service

The school implements the planned RHSE curriculum for students to have a great interpersonal companionship and respect for each other.

COMPETENCE AND PARTICIPATION

Competence and Participation

All the students have the opportunities to contribute and participate in the different competitions at the inter-house, inter-school, and international level. This is with an aim of developing healthy competition and higher order thinking skills.

Career Orientation

The Career Counseling Lab coordinates with all the other departments to ensure that the students develop a suitable profile and make informed career and college based choices that help them achieve their individual life goals.
