Welcome to Vandya International School!

Vandya International School – the inception of which dates back to 3rd April 2023 from where its journey towards achieving excellence in education began. Spread over 20 acres, Vandya works towards transforming the age old education system by a different learning process that we call our paddhati.

The main objective of the school is to enhance children’s capacity for critical thinking and creative expression by using innovative methods of learning and teaching. Buddha in his last sermon to his disciple exhorted that enlightenment cannot be taught and only you can do that miracle to yourself. Thus was born the idea of Aatma Deepo Bhava, which means ‘Be a light unto yourself’ – And this is our school motto

At Vandya, students get learning opportunities over and above conventional academic pursuits. By engaging with the four stakeholders of education, children, community, educators and school, we want to foster a learning environment that enables students to develop holistically.

The world of education demands constant reforms and upgradation to engage and inspire young minds. Today’s children are already exposed to a plethora of information via technology at a very early age and hence are more explorative.

Also, with the mass penetration of social media, their lives are exposed to unaccounted, unfiltered information that may not be authentic but has an influence on their minds. Hence, education needs to be well rounded and in tune with the requirements of the generation.

Each child is unique as Swami Vivekananda said “We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind increased, intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one’s feet.”

Vandya is dedicated to the belief that cultural, social and recreational activities are essential elements of an all-round education system and help students to achieve their full potential. This includes clubs and societies for students to engage in which are part of multiple learning pathways at Vandya. The lessons learnt during these co-curricular activities- provide not only the ability to bounce back when one fails but also to realize the reward of hard work and effort. Using scientific temperament, meaningful exploratory approach and exposure to myriad scientific phenomena through school education, help make science at Vandya visible, touchable and accessible to children.

We all agree that communication work well for those who work at it. So we ensure that all Vandyans speak well which ultimately makes them stand out as 21st century global citizens. We are a school which is rooted yet progressive. Here at Vandya we attempt to ignite students who would bring exemplary change in the society.

Therefore, what makes Vandya unique is its unconventional and impeccable approach to teaching-learning that enables them to become productive global citizens of tomorrow. A tree’s beauty lies in its branches but its strength lies in its roots. At the same time, we must not forget what John Dewey once said, “If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of tomorrow.

So, Vandya is deeply rooted in Indian ethos yet we aim to prepare students to meet the challenges of a dynamic environment. At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents, teachers and students.
